Sasquatch Six-Hour & Kids Micro-Squatch

Saturday:

  • Practice (Course will be marked all day)

Sunday:

  • Plate Pickup (8am-8:45am)

  • Race Beings (9am)

  • Micro-Squatch Kids Race Begins (Noon)

  • Awards, BBQ & Beer (3pm)

Micro-Squatch Event Info: Kids ages 5-12 compete on the 2 mile Green Singletrack Course to see how many laps they can complete in 2-Hours. Entry is free (Donations Excepted). Register on the day of this event. Parents are encouraged to ride-along with their kids if necessary.

Sasquatch Six-Hour Event Info: Riders or teams have six hours to complete as many laps as they can on the 2024 Sasquatch Course. The course is approximately 8 miles long and features a fun mix of double track and singletrack with multiple fun descending sections.

Entry Fee: $65.00 *BMSTC Members Receive a $20 Discount

Basecamp: The entire event is run out of the Owsley Trailhead, which is where the course starts and ends. Racers are welcome to setup shade canopies, BBQ’s and other support items. Camping is available at the nearby Fox Hill Campground (approximately 3 miles).

Racers receive professional timing, 3-Place Awards Podium, and BBQ and Beverages after the race.

-Corporate Team Challenge: The 3-Person Corporate team completing the most laps in the least amount of time will receive bragging rights and the coveted corporate team trophies. The Mountain Works Bike Shop is the defending champion for 2024.

-Pre-Registration is required for this event.

Non-Official Course:

Leave Owsley Parking Lot on Archer Lane.  take a Left onto MERA Loop.  continue on mera loop until the shelter.  take a Left At the shelter and a quick right onto owsley extension road.  ride the road to the start of sasquatch. take a left onto sasquatch climb. Continue on sasquatch and then onto ricochet.  at the bottom of ricochette, take a right onto mera loop, then ride the road section to the bottom of whoopsy.  At the bottom of whoopsy, take a left on mera loop and ride mera loop all the way back to intersection 3. at intersectin 3, take a left and ride singletrack back to the owsley parking area.
